Who can become a member of Pingala?

Any natural person is eligible to apply to become a member of the association. Pingala operates as a voluntary organisation that is open to all individuals who are willing to accept the responsibilities of membership, without any form of discrimination.
How is my membership fee used?

Pingala operates as a non-profit organisation, meaning all assets and income are applied solely to further our aim of creating a fairer energy system. Your membership funds are managed by our committee and used to support our community energy projects and operations.
Do I get a say in how Pingala is run?

Yes, Pingala is a democratically controlled organisation. Under our governance principles, all members have equal voting rights—meaning one member gets one vote. You may also be interested in joining the Committee (our governance body) or becoming a volunteer.
What if I decide to cancel my membership?

You can resign from your membership at any time by giving a written notice of at least one month to our secretary. Please keep in mind that there are no refunds for fees if a member chooses to resign.
